
Roberto Nigro was appointed full Professor of philosophy, in particular continental philosophy at the Leuphana University in Lüneburg in May 2016. He also is an ancien Directeur de programme at the Collège International de Philosophie in Paris. Before coming to the Leuphana University Roberto Nigro taught at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) (2009-2016). His areas of research and teaching interest include aesthetics, political philosophy, and cultural theory with a special focus on French and Italian contemporary philosophy and the legacy of German philosophy (in particular Marx, Nietzsche, and Heidegger) in contemporary thought.
